Welcome to Kitty Hawk Academy.
It was December 17, 1903 when Orville Wright climbed into the first powered airplane and flew 20 feet above the ground in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. The flight lasted 12 seconds and covered 120 feet over the beaches of North Carolina. This was the beginning of aviation, as we know it today. Kitty Hawk Academy is committed to preserving this historical event by spreading the thrill of aviation around the world.
Our goal is to provide pilot training programs preparing the student pilot for Private, Instrument, Commercial, Certified Flight Instructor and Airline Transport Pilot Certifications.
Located in beautiful Clearwater, Florida, pilots can train year-round in order to achieve their certifications.
At KHA, we look at our professional pilot program a little differently. Our curriculum is designed for a highly disciplined student that embraces structure and an intense accelerated program.
